URGENT CARE

If you have a tear or cut in your skin, tissue and/or muscle, you may need laceration repair, which includes cleaning, preparing and closing the wound. Bite injuries also require cleaning, often irrigation, and proper dressing and/or closure. Our team of providers can perform stiches or close wounds with surgical glue if appropriate. We can also administer the tetanus vaccination if needed. 

Many basic fractures and broken bones can easily be diagnosed and treated at an urgent care facility. We can also treat sprains, strains, and tendon injuries. At both ERgent Med locations, we offer X-rays, splinting, and if necessary, we can arrange for a visit with an orthopedic specialist or physical therapy right away for further treatment. 

ERgent Med can perform X-Rays with speedy results, including chest X-rays, orthopedic X-rays, neck and back x-rays. We can also send you with a copy of your results and images for your specialist to review if necessary.

ERgent med is pleased to provide quick results with point of care tests we offer at both locations. These include testing for flu, strep, mono, urine screening, glucose (blood sugar), and urine pregnancy tests.

We offer STD testing for Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Trichomonas, HIV, Hepatitis, and Herpes.

At ERgent Med we offer an 11 panel urine drug screen in office with instant results. If there is a discrepancy or inconsistency with results, we can send off for a confirmatory study.

We offer a 12 lead ECG in office with instant results.

We can provide nebulized breathing treatments for bronchitis, wheezing, shortness of breath  if  appropriate.  

At ERgent Med, we offer basic antibiotic injections, anti-inflammatory injections, and steroid injections for allergic reactions and basic orthopedic purposes. We also have basic in-office medications that can be administered. We do not have, or administer, pain medications, opiods, narcotics, or benzodiazepines in our offices.

We can administer full evaluation and treatment for allergic reactions and monitor patients during a reaction to ensure that they are safe, improving, as long as the reaction is not severe enough to merit an emergency department visit.
